I don't have to tell you, it has been a difficult year. There are very few of us that have not been adversely affected by the economic slowdown or falling stock market. All of us, if not a friend, neighbor or relative has taken a financial hit to some degree. Many of us have either been forced to ask for some form of help or have had other people request help from us.
In most cases whether the help was given or received, both parties benefited. In some extreme situations that help was life changing for either or both parties.
It was great to see so many brothers at the installation of the officers a few weeks ago. We've added some great brother to our ranks in 2009, everyone is really involved with the lodge. From the looks of things already, we will be adding many more brothers in 2010.
Breakfast Club
Don't forget, the Ferndale Lodge holds a pancake breakfast the first Sunday of every month (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.). Come out and share a good meal with some good friends.
